Cpn Website

I am posting this on the Cure forum for the following reason. A Jewish friend of my daughter-in-law wants to know how she can support a "Cure." I was very embarrassed to send our website because it hasn't been updated in a while. Jim was our website update person but he announced he didn't have enough time to do so. He gave me instructions on what software to download and how to make changes. Well, before I could even try to make updates the links to our website were broken. I emailed Jim and he said it was working just fine. We were indeed then able to go back on our website. Howver when I re-downloaded the sofware to update the site all of the files were missing including the most important html file. I emailed Jim again trying to find out where the files were but haven't heard from him as of yet.

We at CPN are going to change the host to another member, But without the files I can't update. Does anyone know about WINSCP and how I can update the website without the files or will we have to re-create the whole thing. I'll probably receive a email from Jim in between posting this and he can probably tell me what to do as he an expert in the field. Just thought I'd pick your brains. Evidently, quite a few people have been visiting our site and want to know why it hasn't been updated. Hopefully Jim will come through for us one more time.

Thanks,

Deb

Anytime, Deb.

DA, you might want to clarify your comment. CPN was under way different management prior to CC coming on the scene. This incarnation of CPN is not the same as the message board you frequented.

No offense to the current owners of the CPN domain intended, of course.

Thanks Guys

I found a great way to edit our website - it's called "Edit.com." They are going to review the site to make sure their software is compatible. If it is it's the easiest way I've ever seen to edit the site. Atoolbar comes up and you pick which part you want to edit and it's just like you were doing it in word. I hope it's compatible because I will easily be able to update the site.

Steven is right.

For a long time you could actually still see the remnant of the original work at http://www.cureparalysis.org/

But he decided to stop the message board long ago and now it's just an embarassing bunch of links to various advertising. Sad.

Your right Jeff - it is sad. That's why I hope edit.com will work with our website so it will be up-to-date on the various cures in the works.

Send a message via Yahoo to jimnms
Deb, I did reply to your email, I will resend it. I just noticed the uptime on the machine is only 10 days, so it's possible that it was down when you tried to connect to it. It is up now and has been since I got your first email.

It would not be a good idea to use the pages from google's cache. The google cache will only contain the rendered code and not the actual source code that you should be working with.

You're looking at a completely different site. The site Deb is talking about is cureparalysisNOW.org.
