Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a button/zipper hook. I heard they have one for quads too.

Thanx

Hi, Royalty! Check out:

www.disabledhands.com

You'll find button/zipper hooks and other items for those of us whose hands are affected.

my pap made me one out of a coat hanger.
i don't use it anymore (returning function in my hands and acrylic nails) my nails would break every time i'd zip up, so the acrylics help a lot with that.

How are you wheeling with the acrylics? I had thought about it the other day when I had gotten a pedicure, but passed. I don't want long fingernails, just a little longer than I have and French manicured.

How are yours holding up? Any problems? My fingernails keep breaking!

mine are awesome. they aren't long either. i have a french manicure too.

my nails are thin so just daily activity, rolling, dressing, all that broke my nails. acrylics keep them from doing so.

it depends on how fast your nails grow (depends on how much you sleep, your nails grow most/fastest in your sleep) i get mine filled in and trimmed/painted every month.

cost me about 35 bucks for them to be put on, and about 20-25 bucks to get them kept up.

Hmmmmmmm .... my fingernails keep splitting and breaking. I may try it to see if it keeps them from breaking off. I cannot cut my own nails (fingers or toes) so maybe I should just get something done to my fingernails when I get my next pedicure.

I just get my toenails trimmed and my feet polished, scrubbed and moisturized through a pedicure every three weeks or so. Plus, they paint my toenails and they can color inside the lines when they do it!
