The Best Transfer Board, I've found!
Here is the best Transfer Board I've found, and I though I would share it with everyone. It has a very slick plastic like coating called "UltraSlick" and its easy to slide on, its better than the plain wood boards. I've tried the Beasy Boards but I don't like them.

I didn't see pricing. How much did you pay?

Quadfather, Sorry I don't know the price, my insurance pays for it. Email them or call them.

A great board. They are durable, and the slick surface really helps with transfers. We use only these at the center where I work, and all the other SCI centers in the VA purchase them too. The company is owned by a guy who has a C6 SCI himself who used to work as a rehab social worker with me.
As I remember, the short boards are around $70, but as it says on the site they do a lot of customization, so it is best to e-mail them for more price information. They will work with your insurance. |
