FES Bike Study in NJ (for SCI Kids)

Children's Specialized Hospital is running a free study for people ages 12-25 who have spinal cord injuries and cannot walk. Using the same therapeutic bike Christopher Reeves used and promoted, electrodes painlessly stimulate the patient's legs and actually allow them to exercise! Benefits include improved cardio-respiratory health, stronger bones and muscles, toned legs, and improved psychological health. Participants are asked to come in 2-3 times per week for sessions on the bike (30 mins MAX).
