Yeah, I tensed/spazzed up a few times, but assumed I would. Nothing new there.

As for the Sanskrit, type the Sanskrit word in Google Images that you want, and you should get an image of the word, if that's the one you want for your tattoo.

Thanks MrSoul I'm actually looking for a complete sutra in sanskrit, but the specific one I'm searching for has proven extraordinarily difficult to find. I've exhausted all of the internet resources, to no avail. If I have to make a pilgrimage to India and search the archives of some ancient, dusty library, I will as soon as I can.

Have you tried putting quotes around the first line, and entering it in Google? You can find poetry and lyrics that way, and I have found obscure saints' prayers that way.

Example: if you type (in quotes) "I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness"--you can usually pull up the entire text of Ginsberg's HOWL. Sometimes whole novels are online! For instance the first line "A squat grey building of only thirty-four stories." brings up ALL of BRAVE NEW WORLD. (The net still astounds me! )

The problem is, if its not on the net, won't show up.
It probably is, but you need to use the right search term. Latin is similarly difficult. Sanskrit and Latin were only used for (mostly religious) texts, it's not like people had real conversations using those languages.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Yeah, look at the "beard" and facial features on this, umm, whatever it is (not my tattoo, but good example):

See how it looks like there are "layers"? Great shadows. You can give any tattoo depth by doing a thick border surrounded by a white space.

I had a simple fleur-de-lis cross (from Mardi Gras eons ago!) re-done with an outlined shadowing effect on the four ends of the cross, and now it looks pretty gothic. Same cross, looks brand new and 1000% better.
