My pain was so bad (for me) that I was ending up in the ER every third day. (It was like this since 05/01) Since 05/02 I've been to the hospital only once, so far, for pain....I take 3-4 oxycontin tabs per day, and 8-10 800mg Neurontin daily. I have 4mg Dilaudid for "breakthrough" pain, which I take 2-3 per week. Although my pain is always there, I manage to get through the day and manage my daily activities, I am seeing a "pain management" doc, but hes my 5th and most just want to dope you up....I suggest you take the Oxycodone, to me its better than the ER.

When you write 8-10 800mg Neurontin do you mean taking 8 to 10 800mg pills a day (ie 6400 to 8000mg daily)!! Thats seems incredibly high.
PS Oxycontin is meant to be a 12hr release so 4xdaily might be overdoing it abit, but if it works for you then great.
My partners has terribl pain so am interested as they are on high doses to.3x600mg Neurontin, 3x40mg Oxycontin, 1x50mg Amitryptaline plus others.
