Momentum International is organizing 5k Race, Walk and Wheelchair Race, a race for mobility.

Date: July 13, 2002

Place: New Castle, PA

Categories: Wheelchair Division
Running Division
Children's Division
Walk Division

We are bringing to life a community fitness event that promotes family togetherness and the spitit of the Paralympic movement. We are commited to hosting a unique and educational family sporting event.

Momentum International is a non-profit organization whose mission is to work with people with disabilities to maximize their abilities using sports as a vehicle to promote full inclusion and change attitudes in society.

TO BENEFIT
The developement of wheelchair racing programs in Western PA for local disabled people and also the Momentum International non-profit facility in Quito, Equador.

RACE INFO:

Open to all members of community; also world class Paralympic athletes from at least Portugal, Ecuador, Colombia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico and USA.

Not that I know about... Check out your sport SCI center coordinator. They might have more info.

We help people(the w/c users) to get accomodation, etc. Interested in coming?
