As Quoted on faceoff.com & TSN:
" Nolan's movie-like debut aside, the Leafs may have been a little fortunate on this night, getting outshot 33-19 and outplayed for most of the night but taking advantage of a shaky Peter Skudra. The Vancouver backup had his third consecutive porous start and the return of No. 1 Dan Cloutier (sprained knee) sometime in the next two weeks can't come fast enough." Couldn't have said it better myself. NUFF SAID ![]() PS; Turtle, turtled on Brasher ( when he was still here and fought, before he became a legend in his own mind) As far as other puck-heads, I don't know either, I think most Yanks are into football and basketball, rather than the best game on earth. They don't know what they're missing!!!! Hockey Rules! Theres no comparison to other sports.

Well, the trade deadline has come and gone and the Sens are looking great. Smolinski had a great game last night and looks like he'll fit in great.
As for the leafs, picking up a couple of washed up old-timers to get a cup only works in Detroit. At first i thought they had a good chance but after they got the crap beat out of them last night by a team that isn't even going to be in the playoffs i realized that they still suck. We'll see how they do against the Canucks tomorrow. I think it's tomorrow. |

The LEAFS played the Canucks 3 times and lost 0 times that means, well we know what that means dont we MG .MAY DAY,MAY DAY May went down in a real big way .Sundin's got more grit behind his left ear than the ''HENS'' have on there dressing room floor and the ''HENS'' have seemed to have choked a bit here eh Nate, and against teams that they could meet in the first round, huh isnt that interresting .~Shaun~ |

Hey Bob!I knew we'd be hearing from you pretty quick, geez, what can I say, yipper the ol' farts are coming on alright. But hey, you have to admit, you were just a tad worried earlier and you know it. Come-on admit it. Yeah, looks like they're making a run for it again, guess we will meet again, not in the 1st round though. It'll be a fun ride alright. Shaun, Shaun, Shaun, "We all know what that means" is right. The boys let the Laughs off easy, good game though, especially for our farmhands. Conserving energy for the playoffs, at least we've secured a spot unlike the some team I know, just gotta keep the Aves at bay and take our division, sure wish Burnaby Joe was home where he belongs. Must admit, what a pick up Nolan was, and a drag about Gilmore's injury, same as May's, there was another deadline guy who got injured right away too, talk about bad luck aye? Although trying to by one round in the playoffs is a rather silly thing for Quinn to do. Hope Philly doesn't burn the leafs in 4, after all they are a Canadian team. (Ooops sorry they did secure a spot )[This message was edited by Monkeygirl on 03-21-03 at 02:35 AM.] |

Well, my Sens ended a great regular season with a sound thrashing of Shaun's leafs. Now bring on the playoffs and that big cup.

Oh Yeah, I'm ready now! It took me a day or so to get over losing our division on Sunday. That sucked so bad, we were in control of our own destiny for two games and we blew it. From always feeding Nassy to get the Trophee's, to not trying to loose, instead of trying to win. One freekin point. Man that was a tough pill to swallow. But, here we go, a whole new ballgame now, gotta be happy with where we are. What a deadly series this is gonna be with the Blues, the last couple of games with them were awesome. (just hope Crow doesn't get tossed again ) Managed tickets for game #1 both rounds 1 & 2. I'm pumped, Game's Thursday, washed up the Jersey's and towels today, Ready to Rock!Geez Nate, Great about the Presidents Cup, but it's almost like a bad omen or a jinx, not to many teams win Lord Stanley that won that puppy! I would've let Dallas take it if I were the coach! As for Shaun and the leafheads, could you imagine if a couple players showed symptoms of that SARS thing, they'd have to quarentine the whole team. Oh well, at least they'd have a legitimate excuse for an early exit aye? They wouldn't be able to stay outta the box long enough to win 4 games anyway.GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!!! |

I was glad to see my Kings put forth a good effort and beat your Canucks especially after they beat us two weeks prior, I was at that game in LA and the Kings played poorly. Playing the spoiler is all they had left after a injury stricken season. I did want your Canucks to win the division though, I'm sick of seeing Colorado do that year after year. Actually I am hoping Vancouver will win the western conference... I hate Detroit (bunch of old men), I hate Dallas (they took my North Stars) and I hate Colorado (Rob Blake bitterness). I doubt the Ducks will go anywhere and St Louis is just a bunch of cry babies. Canucks and Sens, an all Canadian Final eh ? I'm jealous that you get to go to the playoffs, it's the best part of the year and it's going to be a lot of fun...enjoy.
Go Kings Go...Next Season anyway |
