Little Coffee Shop of Horrors!
Little Coffee Shop Of Horrors!
By John McGran eDiets Editor-in-Chief August 4, 2004 Remember back in the not-so-distant past when you walked into a coffee shop and you basically had three choices: coffee... coffee with milk or cream... or coffee with milk or cream and sugar? Little Coffee Shop of Horrors! ~ There's so little you say of the life you have known, why you keep to yourself, why we're always alone. So dark, so dark and deep, the secrets that you keep.~ Cosette, Les Miserables, the opera |

It looks like the link broke because there is a time limit (server) placed on the story. Is this something you log into, have an account with, etc?
Can you post a detailed summary with citation? Hmmmmmm.....gotta think ![]() This is what the window states: "Your email message has been idle and this link has become inactive. To access the link, close this window and return to your Message. Then click the browser's Refresh button or close your message and reopen it. " Try to find the original article and post it. I'll get back to you dear. [This message was edited by booster on 08-04-04 at 11:19 AM.] |

I'm sorry about the failure of this link. The article was very interesting. Basically it described the suprisingly high calorie and fat gram count found in a typical Starbucks coffee treat ... the equivalent of two quarter pounders with cheese, or something like that.
There were also some great suggestions for making your own, and you can reduce the fat and calories. Here's a link from GourmetSleuth.com for some Starbucks copycat recipes: Starbucks copycat recipes ~ There's so little you say of the life you have known, why you keep to yourself, why we're always alone. AHHHHHHHHHHH....I would hate to guess how much damage my mocha is doing to my body (actually I know).
I hate starbucks. At this campus, starbucks sold out to a knock off. The knockoff kept the same outrageous prices, fired all personel, and has better coffee. |
