Am I New or Dumb???
If I reply to a post, how do I do my "reply" so that it physically relates to the particular subject/question/comment I'm targeting? When I post a reply, my reply seems to end up at some random point in the string. I'm pretty new here, or maybe just du'uh!

Your post is placed just under the original post in the thread. Replies are ordered newest to oldest. It takes getting used to.

HSB - Like Alan said, the original topic post stays at the top. All replies follow in reverse chronological order. The most recent one at the top.

Hi HSB,
As said by Alan and Jeff, the replys are in reverse order. The reason the posts are reversed like this is it keeps scrolling to a minimum to help those on the forum who use alternate forms of input devices. So you're just new, certainly not dumb, and WELCOME to the SCI forum Air Force .[This message was edited by Aquitaine on 04-15-04 at 06:56 AM.] |
