Is there such an organization?
My brother is now 10yrs old and he has hydrocephalies. He is blind, does not speak and is wheelchair bound. He is rapidly growing and getting heavier and soon it will take two people to transfer him around. We now drive an SUV and usually to get him in the car it takes two people.
A while back while receiving theraphy I overheard about an organization here in S.California that will fund-raise for a van lift or even a complete van with a lift for low-income families. I did not get much information about this matter but now is something I would to look into. Does anyone know anything about this? Can anyone help me out? Try contacting the Dayle McIntosh Center in Anaheim. They might be able to point you in the right direction.
