Roho Nexus Spirit cushion

Does anyone here use a Roho Nexus Spirit cushion? I'm a low para and I just can't sit well or transfer well on the regular Roho. The Nexus cushion looks like a good solution but I wanted some feedback on it. Does it provide good protection from pressure sores? Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated! I'm having a pressure mapping done on Monday so I need to decide on a cushion! THANKS!

I sit on a Roho Nexus but I don't know if it's the same as a Roho Nexus Spirit. I'm a c6/7 quad and the foam in the front helps with sitting and transferring. Yes, it provides good protection from pressure sores.

Hope it helps!

I ordered a new chair and it had the Roho Nexius Spirit. I am a T-10 Para. Well, I developed a pressure sore from the cushion that became very bad.I personally dislike the cushion, it's dosen't provide very much protection against breakdown. I to was pressure mapped with the cushion and my therapist and doctor both agree it is not a very good design of a cushion. They say because of the hard foam up front it provides to much down pressure on your butt. They also say it dosen't provide enough air flow for the skin to get air.

My son uses a ROHO QUADPRO 4". It has four air chambers that you can adjust to your sitting needs. Since he is a quad this cushion helps him adjust the air accordingly to aide in his balance while up in the chair. You can also adjust the amount of firmness you want to sit on. He has used this cushion for three and a half yers and so far has had no problems.

I tried the Nexus, sent it back quickly. I have sensation in 1/2 my butt and this cushion caused it to feel like it was on fire in short order. Didn't work for me.

i use it, it's pretty comfortable, (i also have sensation) but i think i would get a high profile in the future. the foam part is cool, but it's not quite as good.

Godspeed...

i tried the nexus and i didnt like it at all. i have sensation and i thought the foam was too hard. after awhile the back of my leg started to hurt. the high profile Roho feels much better and the cushion can be adjusted to provide more support if you like.
