June 7, 2002 - Abilities Expo to feature new Ricon vehicle lifts

The Ricon Group will introduce its new lifts at the Abilities Expo in Long Beach, CA, June 7 - 9, that focus on providing maximum available interior vehicle space.

Ricon says its personal lifts and accessories line is being expanded with the PHANTOMT, a thin profile cassette-type vehicular wheelchair lift, and the FREEDOMT, a single post lift.

According to Ricon, the Phantom, which is only 4 1&frasl2 inches thin can be mounted under the van and is almost completely hidden from view when stowed. The Freedom single post and folding platform is equipped with multiple roll-stops to allow access into the van from three different directions.
