When you were injured, what was your age, injury level, and what year did it happen?

7-9-00, i was 22, it was right before my b-day. c5-6 diving accident. trying to live life in man chyair. not doing to bad but i still struggle

My husband was injured 3/24/01. T3 complete. Age 52.

August 15 1986. I was 24, been in this chair for 15 years. All I can say is keep hope alive, never say die, and learn to love life.

January 11, 1999. I was a passenger in a 95 Dodge Truck, the driver was drunk, and we rolled it. I came out of the deal a c6-c7, he got a broken rib. Go figure.

june 23rd "99"was 30 years old.crushed c-5 t-8 several ribs on left side .1 rib went thrue my lung and punctured my heart.i suffer only from the t-8.damb lucky i should say.blow out driving home.went off side of road and flipped a cj-5 jeep.no it wasnt a firestone tire.lol

I was injured on 7-14-91 on my 34th birthday. L5-S2 incomplete injury. Took a simple fall and had a compression fracture. Fell trying to get a second peice of cheesecake in celebration. NO, I was not drunk or stoned and Yes this is the truth. I had an undetected birthdefect of the spinal cord which made the injury significant. Try to make the same cheesecake every year for my birthday. I have 2 kids post SCI, have almost always worked and am grateful daily for what I still have.
