SCI treatment in Miami?

Hi Folks,
Anybody here currently or recently received any out patient treatment at Univ of Miami? What did you have done, by who? Any docs you particularly liked? Disliked? I'm looking for a complete care SCI clinic similar to Spain in Birmingham or Shepherd in Atlanta. Miami is a lot closer for me, but I'm just not sure. Any feedback about Miami appreciated.

Sorry, the previous web site only mentions the treatment of pain. Here is a the one that actually talks about the Miami Project and SCI Model of Care System.

i was at shepherd from 2/24/03-5/16/03..they were wonderful there and they have a wonderful family training program...if you have any other questions about shepherd you can contact me @ lovebug7721@yahoo.com or go to shepherd.org

Dan,
I went to Un of Mia since my accident in 6/78
Did my rehab there after being transfer from
J.F.K Gen in Lake Worth. SCI Clinic was held on
Wednesdays and my Dr. there was K. Banovac and
I also had a great Uroglist Charles Lynne,both
are Professors and good docs but getting old.
Sorry, so late in getting this info to you but
I just signed up and happened to see your post.
I just moved from Miami to just No. of Tampa and
I've been looking for Drs here. Hope I have been
of some help.
