Good Dr.'s in Indianapolis...
From my experience. Most need referrals, though...
Dr. David Brokaw-- Ortho. traumatologist. He excised HO bone in my hips X3, bilateral tendon releases, shaving of right IT bone. Quote from Dr. David Chen at RIC "I cannot tell you ever had HO." I had hella bone too (over 50 pieces per surgery!!) Dr. Michael Turner-- Neurosurgeon. Did my Baclofen pump, VERY concerned when catheter was torn, put in new catheter immediately. Dr. Peter Kunz-- Plastics. Good on decubes, stays informed like a mofo. Dr. Terry Trammell-- Spinal Cord Specialist. Only saw him once, but dude is just str8 up smart about rods, fusion, etc. Y'all know him already Dr. Michael Berkowitz--Phsyiatry. Conservative, but very knowledgable. Was in Indy, now at RIC. Dr. Gerardo Gomez--Trauma. If you're in Indy and get shot, he's the man. Saved me fa sho!! Hope you never need a trauma doc again, but he's the guru of gunshots, partna... All experts, all world.
