cutting stimulite classic bariatric 23W X 18D

i have a bariatric stimulite classic i want to cut to 17w x 18d. should i simply cut 3" off both sides? most of the outer blue/green layer would be gone. most of my butt feeling friends that pass by the cushion have to do a butt and hand squeeze test on cushion. none have said they could tell a differance in outside cushion layers or front middle layers. donnie

I cut up Stimulite cushions all the time (mainly for use on my handcycles.) I have a big bandsaw that I use to cut it. Just mark where you want to make the cuts with a marker and go to town!

I cut mine. Yes cut the same amount off each side. Always check your skin after no more than two hours until your sure your not maintaining red spots.
