pms makes eat crazy things

so there i was, crocheting and watching some deep space nine. windows open and the birds were chirping away and my cat was sprawled out on a chair next to me.

then it hit me. a craving for funnel cake with cinnamon and sugar on it and cayenne pepper. but the current festival was too much of a drive and parking was expensive and i hate crowds especially when i am on a mission. a craving mission. it must be completed at all costs!

typically my cravings have lead to weird food choices like oreos dipped in kc masterpiece bbq sauce, or eating nothing but fried catfish and kraft mac n cheese with ketchup for a month straight. or kimchi straight from the jar.

once i craved peanut butter cookies. i searched ALL OVER campus and there seemed to be a derth that day of the delicious treat and i finally came upon the last one in the dining hall underneath the main dining hall. unfortunately another girl also wanted the same cookie. she reached for it at the same time i did. i hissed at her. i got my cookie.

so there i was at 10pm driving to wegmans like some crazy person. i had texted one of best friends who laughed and asked me not to hiss at anyone in wegmans.

so there i was deciding to get ALL THE THINGS cinnamon and sugary. i got wegmans low fat cinnamon rolls, cinnamon toast crunch, apple cinnamon cheerios and milk.

got home and poured the cinnamon toast crunch and milk into a bowl, took out the cayenne pepper and just dumped some on top. sat back at the computer to eat when... no spiciness. WHUT?! that's when science brain took over hormonal brain and said "hey, dumbass. remember that casein in milk neutralizes capsaicin. try something else" so i tried to directly put the cayenne pepper onto some cereal on the spoon but that was messy.

plan b: opened the box of cinnabuns, dumped cayenne onto the frosting and DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!! i had leveled up and gained 30HP and 45 MP! the whole time, my cat was staring at me with this look of amusement.

i tried it when i wasn't hormonal and i was all "ok.. no idea why i liked this so much."

Peter, this is not Pimms (liquer), it is PMS = pre-menstrual syndrome. It is a woman thing.

A knickerbocker (not nickerbocker) glory is the UK term for an ice cream sundae.

i actually do not like ice cream and am lactose intolerant. hahaha i also dislike cereal hahaha
