cracked weld on my Q7

I have a problem...

My frame on the Q7 has a crack in the weld (i'm guessing about 1/4 to 3/8 inch gap). Its the weld between the caster leg and the rest of the frame. I'm not sure what happened. I was looking to buy a spare chair but I may have to buy a new chair.

What do I do? Is it fixable or do I have to get a different chair?

Has this happened to anyone else?

The chair frame has a life time warranty. Call your DME company.

I wouldnt risk voiding the frame warranty, not unless you have lots of cash to spare.

This seems to happen a lot...I know a lot of people who have broken welds there on both the Q7 and GT frames...wondering what is going on with that...

Shows how the quality of Quickie has gone down hill since Marilyn Hamilton sold the biz. The way the front caster housing sticks out, I'm sure, has something to do with the cracks showing up on them. They take the hits full on rather than a glancing blow on chairs with a more slanted angle.

Really sorry to hear this Novanoin, let us know how much hastle they give you or if they do what is right.
