Alternatives to the Magic Bullet
I have always used the Magic Bullet for my bowel regimen, and it was recommended that I try CEO-TWO suppositories instead. My body is very responsive to the Magic Bullet, so they thought that these other suppositories could still get the job done, but they would be easier on my body.
Looking at their package, it recommends a procedure much different than what I've been using. It says it should soak in water for about 10 min. before inserting. Then it says to hold in the rectum for 30 min. Basically, it's an enema in a suppository. How does this work for a complete spinal cord injured person like myself who has no rectal control? Has anyone ever used this kind of suppository? |

It was recommended to me because a lot of liquidy mucus was coming out for the end that would extend the length of my bowel program.

I should also address the Enemeez since that's been brought up a few times. I tried in the past and had relatively good results. The aspect that I don't like about it is how FAST it acts! As a fairly complete C-4 Quad, I get full assistance transferring to/from my shower chair. After putting in the Enemeez, getting on the shower chair over the toilet in time was always pretty stressful. I know a lot of people like it's fast acting nature, but the 3-4 min. that I get just isn't enough!
I've always heard that it's best inserted when lying on your side in bed. Is that still the general thought? |

You can insert it once you get in the shower chair!
