Yes this certainly does seem to be a reoccurring issue. The doctor has said I should be ok to go to work today, but I was so tired and run down that I phoned in sick. I slept from 11am-5pm and seem to be feeling better today.

The rule of thumb (just a guideline) is that if an antibiotic is the right one, you should feel a lot better within 72 hours - so between rest and the med, I hope things start easing up for you. It's good you stayed home from work and slept today, clearly you needed that shut-eye.
