Sores gotten by being fitted for Rider Cushions

I have been in bed for almost three months because of pressure sore on my left ischial. I don't know for sure how I got the wound but we are suspecting that the court for my laptop somehow got under my hip. It finally closed that yesterday when I went to rehab institute to be fitted for my rider cushion. They had previously made a mold and it is taken to months for my insurance to approve.

My experiences yesterday when getting fitted for new cushion.

I didn't get home till 645. I made to the appointment at 3 p.m.. When I got their my aid put me on mat a look at my bottom. Put me on the new cushion they put me on the new cushion to adjust then went out to the lobby with the mapping under me which tells where pressure is. It was really read on the right cheek that he didn't think there was anything. I was in the new cushion for 40 minutes then Rob put me back on the mat again. He saw redness and skin was opened the top layer was off in three places the tec fully
the therapist downplayed the damage and my aid could not believe he was not admitting to skin breakdown, as my aide knows my skin and I could not see or feel... Then they adjusted the cushion again I guess they trim off some of the seat I got up again with mapping and it was better but the damage was already done. They sent me home with cushion when I got home it was still read an inflamed and there are three areas where the whole top layer of skin is off on my right bottom. I'm going to have my aide take the cushion back tomorrow what is a point of adjusting when I have read can. We were there are three hours and it was very tiring when I first got to the rehab center I was unconscious for a couple minutes and my head was shaking. It always happens when I, from reclining it happened in the van. I have had CAT scan and MRI that were normal they want to schedule ECC. They don't put me and seizure medicine because of side effects until their sure. Has anyone ever had this experience?
. I am afraid of cushion and I hope they don't make me keep. It was quite disheartening as I was excited about the new cushion
It did a lot of damage in 40 minutes. Now I have to start over just getting up for hair and I was up for three hours and four hours on Monday with no problem. And I ever going to get my bottom healed. This pressure was not on the bones because it is cut out the pressure is on the flesh of my rear that is hard for me to see, we used 2 mirrors behind me and have pictures with the digital camera. I thought his new cushion might allow me to go to movie after three months of doing nothing it is so hard. Maybe the idea is good but not with my skin . Quite a disheartening experience. I can not take a chance of getting the cushion that will cause further damage.

returned the cushion, and wanted me to come back in and make a mold again because they had not allowed tilting of my left hip. I clearly told him all about my broken femur that was not repaired. I don't understand why he didn't follow the mapping and assumed everything was OK and downplayed the skin breakdown that was clearly there. My aid could not believe and I could not see until I was home. I saw two mirrors and fixtures with my digital camera. I always look at the actual areas myself as I was taught to do in rehab.

I really had high hopes of this cushion, I guess I figured if the new mobility magazine thought it was good, it would be.

I would like I need feedback on the types of cushions quad use on the list and what you all think about the Jay 2 deep contour cushion as I don't want my robo because it is given the sores several times from year.

What type of special mattresses for hospital beds and cushions with the least pressure and. What kind of their beds are the best? Does anyone know anything about gel mattresses, their costs and how they feel. I have been on a water bed for over 20 years so I want something is to be comparable to my
water bed .
Can anybody recommended that sleeping pills to take for somebody who has been on since disability. They seem to lose up
their potency. I have been taken ambien generic Xanax or eight years. I would appreciate anyone's insistence.
