Hello charlie boi
I ve been trying out leg callpers for over two months now. just standing upright in them was a problem, today i have progressed, i can but them on unaided. and hip hitch on the parallel bars easily. i wouldn't use the word walking but ambulating is more appropriate, however i am soon to start using crutches. i have ordered a special type of shoes which have a rounded sole to i don't have to pull up my legs to far from the ground to swing forward, so far so good. My Ex running marathon running mates have invited me do do a 1km which means 1000 swing steps but for now i do not see this possible. BTW i am a T11 complete |

Peter. Recovery is a journey. Look to the journey for your inspiration rather than the destination. I once walked .25 miles in my calipers...using my arms and shoulders. What was the point? I'm not a monkey, I'm a man. Love what you can do with your legs and make that your preoccupation
