I use this and need to reverse the click buttons. I do this in the control panel-mouse. But now there are times when the pointer doesn't work when clicked, or it acts in the reverse (ie, I'm getting the opposite click to what I set).

Any ideas?

GL,
I had one of these several years ago. I am surprised that they are still on the market. They are old technology with spring loaded mechanical sensors. It is a great design but mine did not last long.

I am wanting to check out the cordless Logitech optical trackball
(T-RB22). I have not run across one in the e-stores I shop at. It looks like it might have potential.

Kensington Expert Mouse

Hi,

I have been using a Kensington Expert Mouse with programmable buttons for years, it is a large trackball for my desktop and lets me quick launch programs as well as easily highlight and click and drag.

darty,
How does the "scroll ring" on the Kensington work for a quad?

Did you install the software that came with the Expert Mouse (you can download software online)? There could be a problem with this mouse. In the past five years I have had to replace two Kensington Expert Mouse. From my experience the Expert Mouse comes with a five-year warranty. You can call Kensington tech support (PST - 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM -1.800.535.4242, EST 8 AM -5 PM - 1.800.268.3447). You may also need to clean your mouse. I hope this answers your question.

Good luck.

went to an nearby OT tech center to check out their trackballs. this company has excellent trackballs with all sorts of functionality, such as jack for external buttons, drag lock, etc. . i just ordered one. anatomically good for quads.
