Some good news for me and mine....

The eletrical stimulation test that was carried out on my wife seems to have had good results. Next she will have the full, permanent e-stim unit surgically placed on her spinal chord to relieve pain. None of this cures her ailments, but it does serve to hide much of the pain that is dibilitating her. So fingers crossed on this one. It will be great to get my girl back into the the real world again.....

Second piece of good news - I was offered a job 2 days ago...and I am on cloud nine. I will be responsible for Accounting function at a new production facility in Atlanta. It is a great pharmaceutical company that is pioneering research into treatments for neurological treatments for things like Parkinsons and SCI. They are also working on a spasticity treatment, and actually produce the Oxybutyln that I already take! My first job is to hire some accountants...

Honestly, I was looking for any accounting job - the other one I was waiting to hear back from manufactured elevator cables. So it really is just good fortune that has found me a job in a field so close to my heart.

Anyway, thanks for everyone who was wishing me and my wife well. It was pretty dark in that tunnel, but we can see the light ahead. And if it's a train......then we will be screwed again lol.
