Who all lives at the farm besides the old man and Maggie? Aren't there a couple more females?

Carol has more use on the farm. I just have a sneaking suspicion that she'll want to be close to where Sophia died.

But now we have to wait until February to find out!

Otis's wife, a younger daughter and I'm not sure who the boy is (Jimmy) but he seems to be with the young daughter.

When I saw that last smaller walker coming out of the barn I was "Oh F'ing No." Everyone went from guns blazing to complete shock... and Rick has to do what Shane can't.
Hated to see Carol lose her daughter, but that was a hell of a mid season finale.

Love this show... almost as much as Dawn of the Dead.

So now the question is ... why did Hurshall let them go hunting for Sophia all that time? I assume another family member knew as well.

She didn't look well-done dead. Perhaps that Jimmy kid caught her the day or so before and that's why Hershel was getting more adamant that they leave?

Otis caught her. He didn't know they were missing a girl, or he didn't clue in. That's what they said on Talking Dead.

Oh, I haven't been able to watch the live show. Sunday night is a busy TV night. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I think it was implied that Otis had caught her; when Rick was helping Hershel and the kid capture the two walkers stuck in the creek, Hershel said Otis usually did that.

It seems much smarter to burn the barn down, but I think Shane knew he had to make a dramatic impact on Hershel.

I wouldn't have burnt the barn as it's a useful building. Not sure if a turkey shoot was done to "shock" Hershel, more than it was a way for Shane to release his frustrations.
