Regarding "Is the warranty void if a private tech installs AEVIT equipment?" - you would need to ask the manufacturer about warranty questions. In general; however, nearly all brands and types of similarly technical equipment are not warranted unless installed by manufacturer-certified technicians.

just cautionary...i would strongly advise the recipient of this system is aware of the training such high tech drive by wire equipment requires.

Hi! I use the same equipment, going on 10 years now. i know I'll have to eventually replace parts.

Has someone purchased this equipment yet?

Also, do you have the manual on how to install?

For those who have asked via replies and private messages, it appears that there may now be an EMC equipment set being retrieved from a full size 2003 Ford van.
