How to increase spasticity?

Everybody always talks about getting rid of it how do you increase it?

If i sit for a specific position then stretch my legs out i can typically get a leg shake already. Plus i can get reflex orgasms easily. But how do i increase the legs spasticity and abs flex? Any drugs that can do this I am sure there is something opposite to the gaba baclofen type of drugs.

Some of the newer antipsychotic medication class can definitely increase spasticity. Look into risperdal - even at a low dose, it will tighten everything up. Geodon, Abilify, Zyprexa, Seroquel, etc etc - they'll all increase spasticity.

That said - why would you want to? I'm just not following your reasoning here...

Muscle tons and orgasm potential. When my body is happier and relax O's/ejac is no longer achievable. I am willing to put up with tension and the crap spasticity puts you through to increase my sex life.

Just taper down and stop taking baclofen or valium. You might find that w/out any meds in your system the spasticity evens out, gives you more muscle tone and may help with function.

This is good advice. If I forget my baclofen, my legs start going nuts.

Hi,

I would caution you away from trying to solve this on your own. if it is sexual improvement that you want, I would encourage you to seek sexual health/sexuality services, available likely through your sCI clinician or a urologist experienced in SCI care. They can work with your specific needs and suggest options. The meds mentioned above will need a prescription anyway.
