I would get in both trucks before and go from there. Trust me I am tired of working on this project and am going to focus my attention on my Impact chair next.

Good explanation Bras, and if I had the cash, I too might be willing to live with making some mods to have the option of a 4WD truck.
And Z, I agree, with Bras' experience I think he could, and would, modify about anything.

Bras,
Soyou drive from your manual chair? Would you be able to send me any pictures of you in your manual chair in the truck?? I am just trying to get an idea of how that works. I would like to be able to get in the in regular seat and then pull my chair up with me and then heave it in the back. I do not like to drive from my chair. Thanks for any info and sorry about all the questions. hv1987 |

You cant see anything because the door is closed. I have tried that set of pics. I would like to drive from the seat too but I just cannot transfer that good.

I have one of these trucks on order just like the one pictured but it's a 2500. I was wondering how you gained 2" by your front caster? As far as design this truck beats all in my opinion and I've been driving an Elaine Ann Lift truck for 15 years and have own 3 different ones. 2 I bought used (1997 Yukon and 1988 Blazer) and one new (2002 Yukon it's 4 sale). I have had good luck with minor repairs over the years.

Just look at the gallery on my truck post. You can see on the right side what I had to do.

I absolutely love this design. I'd buy one tomorrow if it would fit the Permobil 500!

I was told the 4wd won't work with the front wheel drive chair awhile back. Maybe they modified the design?
