Significant increase in muscle spasms
Could a UTI manifest itself with increased muscle spasms being the main complication? I do not see any changes in regards to the urine itself. I also do not have any type of fever. Also, my bowel program seems to be consistent.
Any feedback? |

Hi,
Yes, spasms can definitely increase with a UTI but there are usually other factors. And according to the CDC, there are certain criteria to be met to be considered a treatable UTI. These factors include factors such as increased WBC, fever, fatigue, positive urinalysis, etc. If you are experiencing increased spasms only, it may be that your spasms are getting worse or you need an adjsutment to your spasm medication.
