Big Storm Brewing for California

Today I read a article on the internet , over 100 scientists and experts say in a new report that California faces the risk of a massive "superstorm" that could flood1/4 of the states homes and cause 300-400 billion dollars of damage, They say it would be 4-5 times stronger than a major earthquake . They were saying the storm could last 40 days and dumping 10 feeet of water on the state . The storm would be goaded on by an "Atmospheric River " that would move water at the same rate as 50 Mississippis discharging water into the Gulf Of Mexico" with winds that could reach 135 mph. Boy I sure hope they are wrong Imagine how much damage that would be ; If it does Happen I sure will do a lot of praying LBUSH49

I have always heard that Nevada could someday be waterfront property. Guess they might be right.

Time to buy canned goods and a boat.

The article was based on a study of weather patterns and flooding that occurred in California's central valley in the mid 1800's. It is not a talisman for the whole of California....you know surf's up in downtown San Francisco or Los Angeles, or dogs and cats living with together (to paraphrase Ghost Busters).

Keep your powder dry,

Didn't Edgar Cayce say something about California's plight?
