motoneurons in the spinal cord
Can anyone tell me where the motoneurons are most prevalent in the cord? Does a lower injury constitute less potential for lower body parts and organs? I incorrectly assumed that for anyone paralyzed with a spinal injury, there were no motoneurons.

I think
you're talking about damage to motoneurons at the injury site. You have motoneurons extending the length of the cord. Depending on where your injury is, you might need neuron replacement to reinnervate that part of your body.
