Hell yes! I want calf strap loops. So simple, and yet it looks so nice. Obviously I want a back that doesn't constantly come loose, too.

//buying something some time next year

I agree, the back fix would be nice, imagine how many others there are out there with the same problem who do not read or post here, I hope they are taken care of too with a general recall/upgrade/replacement plan.

I believe calf strap loops won the 1985 Wheelchair Design Innovation Award.

Eventually TiLite will get around to offering them.

Calf straps? They've been a option forever. We're talking about the strap that prevents you legs from falling back off the footrest right? Got them on my 2004 chair. They are a pain to adjust when you have poor finger dexterity though.

No, we're talkin calf strap LOOPS... attachment points on the down-tube of the chair so that the strap doesn't have to wrap around the tube and be all ugly. If you watch the video above carefully you can see that the strap is not visible on the front of the chair...

Edit: Sorry, the referenced video was in another thread. I'm a dope. here's the video I was referring to.

Calf straps are the next listed item after seat belts, two different options & lots of different sizes. That was the ZRA2 order form, don't have time to check the others.

WTF...that's two years BEFORE my injury, and I've never seen a chair with them in person. Why the hell does it take so long for innovative ideas to trickle through and become standard equipment?

I hate wheelchairs.
