Had an interesting converstion, thru e-mails, with Mark tuszynski of UCSD. He was part f the Acorda meeting an dhas bee touted by Dr silver as a key component of spinal repair. what he told me is that he and many aroudn the world are working tirelessly for a cure. but, we are no there yet. He said what we've heard before, that going from mice and rats to humans is difficult. No discussion on what it will take or how far along the therapy he and his crew are working on. I told him that many of us, not all of us, but many are waiting for a trial to be part of. He said he understands and he can't imaigen the difficulty of waiting. I expalined that I've exercied everyday for 5 years and it is getting to be more difficult everyday. Now Dr silver wants our group to keep pressure on Acorda. I'm sriting on this to let everybody know where reaerchers are with this thing. NOmention fo Dr Young's or Stem Cell Inc human trials.

I should add, Dr tuszynski, said there is reason to belive that something might be coming, but nothing definite.
