eBay is always worth a look, I found a superb set of Spinergy wheels for my son's chair on there.

I too have some wired spoke wheels that have a quick release axle on them. They don't have a tire or tube on them anymore (just kept them as spares). They are 24" and have polished uncoated handrims.
