Came across these links in the Paralysis Resource Guide from the Christopher & Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center. This is a free book they will send, 1 per family, it is the best resource I've ever found. Order it, no joke, it's great. From care to cure.

Alliance for Parent Centers
Each state provides training and info to parents of kids w/ dis, as well as the pros who work w/ them. Find your center.

Council for Exceptional Kids
Dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted.

Easter Seals
Helping ppl w/ disabilities live better lives for 80 yrs.

Family Center on Technology and Disability
Supports assistive technology orgs and programs that work w/ families of chidren and youth w/ disabilities. Searchable database w/ reviews of books, articles and other materials.

Family Voices
A national grassroots clearing-house to improve healthcare for children with disabilities and chronic conditions.

Fathers Network
Supports men who have children with special needs through support and mentoring programs, technical assistance, national conferences and information resources.

The Shriners Hospitals
The Shriners have three facilities in the U.S. to provide expert, no-cost care to children under 18 with spinal cord injuries.
