Hi all after I installed SP2 on my vista I lost my speaker volume how do I get it back?

I read on the net about SP2 leaving a lot of SP1 junk you don't need should I clean this up?

That I have no idea of what-s0-ever, I hate computers I know they are a necessary evil but I need one of those computers for dummies books. I recently found out that vista stands for virus, spyware, trojans , adware!
