I think that the analysts will be wrong again. When the ipod came out, they didn't think much of it. Over 10 million sold since 2001. All they have to do is add a cable input to the Mini-mac and they will have a tivo blow-away. Wise.

If I'm not mistaken Replay TV has and ethernet
port which would add this to your home network for copying movies or what you had on your replays hard drive. The possibilties are endless.... portable DVD player, mp3's you name it.... all in a neet little package too boot.

Sunday New York Times (01/16/2005) has excellent article on Apple in business section. There's also mention of Windows CE based units being marketed by companies like AMD.
A $500 Mac is tempting - my daughter is the kind of artsy user who could really benefit from such a machine.
