adaptive equipment to help you drink beverages
I am a C5-6 quadriplegic and the co-founder of a new company called uAdapt. We are the creators of a product called the uDrink. The uDrink can help people with any type of disability affecting their hands and fingers to hold and drink beverages independently. You can check out more information about the uDrink by visiting our website here: http://www.u-adapt.com/udrink.html
The uDrink has really helped me become more independent and so my friend and I started this business to help as many people as we can. We would appreciate it if you could send information about our products to anyone you think could benefit - especially anyone with a disability affecting their hands. Thanks for helping us! When you are starting a small business - word of mouth is the best advertising! http://www.u-adapt.com |

Congratulations on your initiative and hope it goes well. I was just wondering, do you actually need someone to set this up for you right? Or quads can strap that and do everything by their own?

Looks like it would work well, I'm going to try one. I don't like drinking through a straw, causes gas and bloating.

Setup & the uDrink
OxSquidy - it's something that works best with having it setup on a cup or bottle by someone else - unless you are really good with your hands. I have one I keep on my water bottle during the day and I'll have a few setup on juice or gatorade inside my fridge. I probably have about 4 or 5 that I have set up on various things, so I can be independent during my day. But the one I use everyday is on a water bottle so I can stay well hydrated.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

I'm so glad you got this up and running. I remember Jen talking about this when I was at Craig. I'm definitely ordering one. Tell Jen Anna says hello!
