whats the advantage of Modzilla?

This is my first time surfing with Modzilla. It claims to be faster than IE but I dont see it. Everthing seems the same to me.

Built-in pop-up blocker... image prevention by domain, faster... quicker updates.

Best of all? It's not run by Microsoft.

Pat, maybe your speed limit is your connection and not the browser. Mozilla (at least on the Mac) is much faster than Internet Explorer and Netscape. So far, I think that Firebird is the speed champ on OSX. From a standing start, it downloads the front page of this site in less than a second (too fast to time) and can show the insides of any of the forums in less than 2 seconds. It pulls out a new topic or reply box in less than 2 seconds. In order of speed, the browsers on my computer are:

Firebird
Safari
Camino
Mozilla
Opera
Internet Explorer
Netscape

Note: Of the above browsers, Opera is the only one that cannot display the new interface of the carecure site but it is very fast and reliable using the old interface.

Wise.

The more I surf the faster it gets. I keep jumping around to see how it performs and I gotta admit I am beginning to like it! I think I am sold, oh wait, it was free...

The only disadvantage with Mozilla that I know about is that every once in a while you may find a web page that won't open, and then you need IE.

I have been hearing and reading so many good things about Firebird I have decided to download it.

Meet Mozilla's smaller, faster little brother.

Leo's favorite free browser

The TechTV staff has turned into a cult of Mozilla worshippers. Leo even recommends it to viewers at least twice a week for its superior browser features, email and newsreader, and built-in chat client. Today, however, we're going to recommend another (gasp) great free alternative to Internet Explorer. It's called (drum roll please) Mozilla Firebird.

I've been using it since it was born.
No problems, and no pop-ups. Ever.
Edit | preferences | privacy & security | popup windows
Uncheck "open unrequested popup windows"
You're done.

What are you talking about?
Use photoshop to "do something" with them. Or paint shop pro.

posting pics on CC is what I am talking about. Its working now but at first it would just run. When I would do con-alt-del it would say the program is not responding.
