Oprah Ending Show in 2011 To Focus on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN)
Oprah Winfrey has announced that she is ending the The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2011. Winfrey plans to focus her time on starting her own cable network. A spokesperson for Winfrey's Harpo Productions confirmed that Oprah will announce the end of her show on the Friday, Nov. 20 broadcast of the Oprah Winfrey show.
Winfrey will now set her sights her own TV network, the Oprah Winfrey Network, which is slated to debut in 2011. Going to miss her show too ... hope I can access the new one on the new network, but not sure it's available in Canada.
