e mail troubles
Hi I am no computer guru so I need some help. I am using Outlook Express for my email and everything was fine until last week. When I use to open a e mai it would come up on the screen so I could read it now it goes to the bottom tool bar and I have to click on it and maxmize it to open it so I can read it. I went to the help section but can't figure out what to do. Any help in this would be great thanks

It appears that Outlook Express is auto minimizing any new email. There may be a setting in Outlook Express that will stop this from happening; so your E-mail does not minimize to the Tool bar. Also, if you are not using Outlook Express 6.0, you might consider upgrading and this may resolve the problem. I believe that many of our members are using Outlook Express and they may have an idea that can correct this issue. Nevada, did you install any new software in the days before this started happening?

If you are using Windows Millennium Edition or Windows XP, you can use the System Restore feature on your PC. Since this problem only happened a week ago, I suggest that you try using the System Restore feature by choosing a time when your computer was functioning properly and roll it back to a previous date. If this works, create a new restore point in case you to do this again in the future. Let us know if this works.

Any particular reason besides "It's there" that you're using outlook?
Web based email (yahoo, hotmail, ureach, bigfoot, hundreds of others) tends to be much safer, with embedded virii checkers and such. http://krstofer.org |
