Bearings for forks on Quickie 2
Ever since getting the new TiLite chair and comparing it to the old Quickie, I have questioned something being wrong with the Quickie. While I am not surprised the Ti is better, even a lot better, but the difference has been light years, the Q2 just will not turn.
Tonight, while sitting in the Ti, I went over to the Q2 pulled down on the back, raising the front end and I saw the forks move and when I set it down it moved again, it is like they are loose. My guess, obviously, is that the bearings are shot; I will have had that chair 11 years come December and I have never replaced a bearing in it. This is a long story to ask, what bearing does it take and suggestions for where to purchase them, locally would be great? I may not get to this, it depends how long it may be to get my Ti setup for driving, but it would be nice to fix it. I should also ask about bearings for the front casters too, I don't know if they need it as well, but if they are cheap enough, why not?

I have found these folks to be very thorough in dealing w/ after market Quickie wheelchair parts. If you call with your serial # they can bring up the specs on your chair from the day it left the factory. from there you can choose to purchase from them or buy somewhere else with accurate part number and specs.
