I have not taken that ship, but have cruised Hawaii in the past with both the old Hawaiian-American cruise line (which went belly up in the mid-1990s) and on round-trip cruises from the mainland with both Princess and HAL.

My understanding is that this ship is pretty accessible. I don't know about their tender policy for wheelchairs though. Kona is a tender port. Usually the other ports on their itinerary are at docks, so this makes it easier to get ashore. There are some tours you can take that have a lift equipped bus if you push the cruise line on getting this arranged early, or if you can transfer, renting a car and doing things on your own in port is a very good idea. In Honolulu the Bus system is accessible and right in the city is better than renting a car due to traffic and parking problems, but a car is a good idea if you will be getting out of that immediate area or want to take a circle tour of Oahu (which I highly recommend).

You may want to post your question on the Disabled Cruisers forum at www.cruisecritic.com to see if there are others who have been on this cruise and can provide you with more specific information.
