E-motion wheels for sale
I have a pair of m12 mobility assist wheels with batteries, charger, spare batteries, pneumatic tires with flat free inserts, and removable rubber covers up for sale. They are currently listed on Ebay with a starting bid of $3500, buy it now of $4500. (I'm not sure if a link to Ebay is permissible here, but you can search Ebay for E-motion m12 mobility power assist wheelchair wheels).
The auction is set to end in 2 days and 22 hours. There are a number of people tracking the auction, and I have no doubt they'll sell, I just wanted to pass along the info to everyone here in case someone reading these forums needs the benefit of these wheels. These wheels have been used very little (I'm not a full time wheelchair user) and due to increased limited hand dexterity in colder weather I need to sell these and get a scooter. These are amazing wheels, and unlike the new model, these batteries don't need to be charged in the hub. You can have the spare set of batteries charging while you're out and about and know that in 2.5 hours you'll have a fresh pair of batteries. Wheelchair info is available through the manufacturer, Frank Mobility. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks! Last edited by freerolling; 11-04-2009 at 02:23 PM. |

I got crappy Medi-Cal to pay for a TiLite chair with EMotions which immediately broke upon arrival and has been getting DENIED by Medicare/MediCal since 2006! The total cost of the TiLite chair plus EMotions was over 8K. What a WASTE OF MONEY! I hope you did not dump them on some poor person knowing they are total CRAP!!!

If your E-motion wheels broke upon arrival I'd certainly hope you got them repaired under warranty. I've had no problems whatsoever with these wheels, and went places with them that would otherwise be impossible in a manual chair. I'm not sure under what grounds your purchase was denied after being previously approved, but that's an entirely different issue. I have an extremely high opinion of these wheels, as do many others, and I'm sorry that your experience was much less than that. |

There are 3 days left on the auction on Ebay. If anyone has any other questions, please let me know.
I've been asked if I'd ship these out of the country, and although the auction states US only, I would be willing to do that for actual shipping costs paid by the buyer. |

Last week on relisting the wheels- price dropped to $2,000
The wheels have just been relisted on Ebay for $2,000 and this is my last week to list them prior to leaving for the winter. For this price, they're a steal, and I hope someone can use them. I'm hoping to be able to sell them and get the scooter on order asap.

M12's have a range of about 6 miles, the new M15's have a range of about 16 miles. Apparently the new ones use a new type of battery technology which nearly triples their range. Apparently none of the parts are interchangable to convert the old ones to use the batteries from the new ones. But for somebody that wants to save over 4 grand these might be a good deal. New ones go for around 6 grand.
