She's being charged with attempted murder and abduction. *phew* So I guess I'm not surprised that she has a history of assault already. But that still leads me to the question, why in the f*ck DID this happen? I am going to assume that the odds that she was/is in a gang, or maybe even associated with one, are probably fairly high. Unfortunately, that is the case for the majority of the young native population in Winnipeg. And don't get me wrong, I don't think that has anything to do with the fact this happened--the same goes for white, black or Asian people. It's the same for any young kid who wasn't given the opportunities or given the better choice, that generally, gravitate towards gangs, or drugs or just down that bad, scary path. I am not trying to make this a racial issue by any means--gangs come in a large variety. And i am only speaking my assumptions and opinions. I live in Winnipeg. I see what its like here and what goes on. Take a drive down main street in winnipeg, it's not a pretty sight.

In closing, no matter what, she obviously has mental issues of some kind. I guess I would hope that is the case, because the thought of someone doing something as disgusting as this, in their right mind, is sickening.
This as fucked up as it gets.

I lived in Winnipeg for a while. Goulding st If I remember correctly, near the mall & River Avenue.

I just don't know what to say about this issue but she's a monster. That poor child will most likely be scarred (physically)forever.Heaven forbid they now have a brain injury or delays which are so likely.I just can't imagine how the mother feels,I'd want to personally bash her face in.I'm sure she'll have an attorney & doctor pleading her case though. There's always a cop-out these days. They were so fortunate to have that teen step in.I just hope help didn't come too late though.
