Changing Dragon naturally speaking headset

I am changing from Logitech clear chat pro to a certified Andrea headset and I was wondering if I need to delete my old user settings or just continue saving user files?

Thanks.

I rarely save my user files unless I have made some changes. You do not need to delete your user settings. Just go through the Audio Setup Wizard and you should be A-OK.

Well I got my new headset hoping for an improvement in accuracy and I can't get it to work. It's an Andrea NC-185 VMUSB Headset. Computer won't recognize, says faulty USB device. I have gone through Andrea website trouble shooting. Waiting for comment from N-DEVA UK with regards to refund, not impressed paying for item return 1/2 way round the globe. Am I missing something?

I have xp home sp3 and installed andrea software before plugging in headset. It just doesn't show at all in Sounds and Audio Devices Properties.

Thankyou
