Diamox ?

Have any walking quads taken diamox (acetazolamide) to help with altitude acclimatization ? Did it help ?

I seem to acclimatize to high altitude (for me, above about 12000') somewhat more slowly post injury and am hoping this drug will speed that process up a bit.
