EZ-Riser lifts for Pickup Trucks???

I have an 84 Chevy truck I am trying to figure out how to get me into. It belonged to my 19 year old son before he passed away. My wife and I would like to be able to get into it and drive it so we can feel his sprite and as a tribute to him. The truck has a lift and big tires on it so it is kind of tall. What I was wondering if anyone here has a truck that old that they have modified with some kind of lift system to be able to get into it and be independent? If so could someone post pics or suggestions? Below is an attached photo of his truck.
