Chronic Prostatitis

Are there any statisitcs of SCI patients with chronic prostatitis?
Some symptoms are chronic UTI's and severe pain in the testicle and prostate area. Some compare it to having a golf ball on fire up your rectum in the prostate area.
NIH just came out with a report that none of the traditional treatments of antibiotics or pain medicine can cure this painful and debilitating infection.

Can you give the reference for this? Having just been treated for this a few weeks ago and treated with antibiotics, it is important. As a quad, I have experienced much worse pain. However, diagnosing it required 3 days in the hospital. Hospitalization was most scary and painful. With nurses few and far between, and none having a clue about SCI, seriously, my life was in jeopardy. It is tragic, but it is going to be our broken "health care" system that does me in.
